We too had a problem with deckbuilding having only one copy of the base game. In the rules it says that you can have up to 6 level 1 spells and up to 4 level 2 (correct me if I'm wrong). So we felt that just dividing the cards in half was not correct. If I can have up to 4 (or 6, can't remember) heals, there should be a way for me to do that no matter what my opponent chooses.Since our cards are sleeved, the solution we came up with was basically creating your own extra copy of the card you wanted by writing the relevant info on a piece of paper and sticking it in front of some other card (that of course won't get used). This also helps in that your opponent won't know exactly what you have and is very useful for those pieces of equipment there is only one copy of.
We are thinking of taking it one step forward by replacing our little pieces of paper with scanned and printed copies of these cards. This is more for looks than anything else though and would be a lot of work.
Anyone else tried anything similar?
