Mana Siphon Card Text:When Mana Siphon comes into play, choose a Mage up to 2 zones away and within LoS of this spell. That Mage gains Channeling -2 as long as Mana Siphon remains in play, and regardless of where the chosen Mage is in the arena.
The range of the conjuration is 0-1, so you can cast it 1 zone away. For the range of "2 zones away", is that range counted from the conjuration or from your mage? "2 zones away and within LoS of this spell" seems like it could be either "2 zones away... [from] this spell" or "2 zones away [from your mage] and within LoS of this spell."
Basically, can I target a mage that is 3 zones from my mage as long as I drop the Mana Siphon between us, putting him 2 zones away from the conjuration?
