I tried the Beastmaster(BM) today again.We are still playing with the Suggested Starter Decks and we think that only the Beastmasters Deck is....how should I put it? Useless?

What I did this time (order in Initiative):
Round1
Priestess(PS): 1 Mana Flower and Temple of Asyra (+Move mid back row)
BM: Play the Ring of Beasts and 1 Bitterwood Fox(BF) and Move one closer
Round2
BM: Move Bitterwood F 1 space away from PS, Cast another BF and move
PS: Casts Mana Flower
Round3
PS: Quickcast Ivarium Bow, Shoot at BF -> dead
BM: move BF to Mana Flower attack -> 4dmg, Cast the 6 Mana Falcon and Tanglevine on PS
In the following rounds PS will shoot every creature of mine down with one shot, I cant even touch anything, and the Mana Flowers I damaged healed due to Regenerate 2.
After approx 7 or 8 Rounds she has in one Zone 2 Royal Archers, a Cleric, a Knight of Westlock, 13 Channeling.
BM: zero Creatures, 1 Lair, all in a neighbour zone and a Wall of Thorns seperating us. 10 Channeling, 1 Mana Flower somwhere.
The 2 Archers can go to the side, hitting anything I spawn. And I mean hit, not tickle.
Maybe I was just playing halfheartedly, especially when I saw my L1 Creatures get killed so easy I backed off and went for Mana Flowers. But I do not think, even if you can drop 3 Creatures in one round, that you can defeat your enemy. When you are at them, they are prepared enough to take care of you with one hit.
My current Objections to the BM are:
- no ranged Creatures
- beautiful Incantation, but use them with what mana? And on What, if everything dies quickly
- Level 1 creatures are one hit wonders, not worth casting against anyone (Elemental Wand + Chain Lightning can be your best friend)
- Low Health Creatures
- Not even a Elven Bow Equipment for the BM.
- cool Conjurations, but who has use for them if there are no Creatures
- Sleep and a Mage Wand is the KILLER for this Man (what to use the Dissolve for?)
Sure, I can just build my deck the way I like it but, Level 1 Creatures are his thing, but die way to easy, and I cant find any good ranged Creature that would fit him.
I am probably fairly bad at Deckbuilding right now, but to all the other starting Decks I have the feeling: yeah, cool, maybe change that spell or try to get this in.
But the BMs Deck is more like this: Scrap that completely. And I dont even know what to put in?!?
My possible Thought was:
Get the Pixie, wait in the back to summon some big Creatures, some Wolfes for example. and then attack all together and spawning a lot of small Creatures into the Wave going all out with Enchantments and a Mage Wand with an Incantation of your Liking. Is that even viable? Can you overrun your enemy like this?
