Six is different than three and in lieu of actual game experience with them I'd be hesitant to make a sweeping generalisation about them.

As Alex mentions, six of them would fill half the board and I doubt that your opponent would give you the space to do so nor would, I think, a Priestess do well sending that much time to put out Hands.



Again, you don't place 6 on the board, you place 2 or 3, and then place either a temple of light or the dawn temple.

All this is about is that the HoBS is super cheap, and is one of the few cards in the game that acts as an instant. Furthermore, it does an offensive OR a pair of different defensive abilities. Forget the strategy just focus on the actual card.


Yes this is what I was referring too. I've never had more than 3 out, but I like having back ups.

In my experience (limited to about 2 dozen games) the Priestess Temple deck is the toughest nut to crack, and the HoBS (especially with the ToL) is the main reason for that IMO.

Are there ways around it? Sure, that's why we all love this game. Your strategy is ever changing based on what your opponent is doing (or at least it should be).
