The cost of 1 associated with Novice cards is the cost to add to your spellbook, not the mana cost.
I agree but the cost to have it in the deck builder doubles the cost, checked it with every mage?
Uh Oh.. then this is my misunderstanding and I will correct.. I thought the mage didn't apply their "doubler/tripler" to cards with the novice trait thereby making a 2 Fire card cost 2 for the priestess..
If all novice cards are just "one" to include, then why are the schools listed on the card?
Hi Ilan, page 36 of the rule book. "Any mage may purchase any novice spell for 1 spell point regardless of 'school'"
