Oh, well, if that's all he meant then I don't really see the problem. It doesn't take 10 minutes to do that for sure, more like 1 minute. It's probably less time consuming that a standard card game where you have to put your cards back in your deck and do a proper shuffle to assure randomness, then draw a new starting hand (with a possible mulligan depending on game).
