And that seems perfectly reasonable to me, if players don't mind sitting not near their mage. But if teammates are positioned on the near corners, it's a looong way to the nearest opponent, almost demanding a slow build; and if teammates are positioned on the far corners, then it will probably devolve into two 1v1s. To each their own, of course.
