To answer my own question, and in case someone else comes across this thread, supposedly the "street date" is September 7th - 10th, as already noted here:

The only thing that I found to support this was from Patrick Connor on the magewars website which predicts a "street date" of September 10th-15th:

I would be much obliged if anyone has up to date information! I made the mistake of bundling this game (as a pre-order) with a large order, and the board game retailer won't ship my games until this comes out!
