I understand that if a creature becomes Dazed, then the Dazed token is removed at the end of that creature's action phase. I'm not clear on how the mana cost works for that. There is a "2" at the bottom of the Dazed token. My understanding is that is the cost in mana to remove the token. So, if my creature is Dazed, do I have to pay 2 mana to remove the Dazed token at the end of that creature's action phase? If so, what if I don't have the mana or don't want to spend it? Does that creature remain Dazed?
Or, is it that I have the option to pay 2 mana to remove Dazed before the end of that creature's action phase and if I choose not to spend the mana, then Dazed will be removed at the end of the creatures action phase for free (no mana cost)?
In either of those above scenarios, is there a certain spell or ability that is required in order to pay the 2 mana to remove the condition?
