Ultimately, there is no way to have an answer for everything and still be able to run an offense to win.

The warlock's best defense is his offense. The purify is a single card for 6 points in a Warlock deck that will cost a massive amount of flexibility elsewhere. I just don't know what to cut to make that happen.

In dealing with decks like that, the warlock will depend on Walls of Fire, Force Push, and Teleport. In the mean time he must do as much damage as possible. Obviously, the longer the game, the worse it is for the Warlock.

Well, I dont know about purify 'costing' flexibility - it does something no other card you have can do, which makes its pretty flexible, doesnt it? Its not cheap, sure, but it does its job. I actually dropped my heals for it, because that made my deck more aggressive, in a way.

I thought it was level 2. So at 3 points it hurts a lot less. In terms of flexibility, I was thinking that at 6 points I would need to give up a lot of alternative options. At 3 it is much more reasonable.
