OK... appreciate all the suggestions. It seems as tho the plan of Warlock then should be to Rush in for victory and forgo the stuff that builds Defense.Just seems odd (at least on the surface) because that means the Rusher is using his valuable Action turns on MOVEs. So for example, Rock, by time I GET to the Princess she has already cast a Guard or Two, as well some minimum defenses. Seems like all the Creatures require the Mage to Stand Still (full action) so you are going-in with no support. I just don't see it... saying 'charge in & melt her face' sounds great but in the time to get there seems the Priestess can get a handle on ways to protect for it.
Anyway, will give it a try.
