I didn't see anyone discussing the Dark Mage spells "Drain Life" and "Death Link" that the Warlock can access easily. It seems these should be in the list of Support cards for this mage. Death Link with a Vampiress seems like a good combination. Has anyone tried that?Perhaps getting Goran into play is a key we are overlooking here. He seems to be the most powerful Mage-specific Creature in the basic set. Teamed with his master in the same zone seems like a powerful combination. The Warlock wounds a creature and then Goran finishes him off with his Doublestrike and Bloodthirsty abilities.
I am hoping to try the Warlock out tomorrow.
